BOOKING FEES:
On Airbnb the host now pays a 15.5% service fee or commission. You won’t see the break down, but your room rate includes a 15.5% mark-up. Airbnb retains the fee.
VRBO charges the guest a 14% "service fee". You will see this displayed as " service fee". In addition, VRBO also charges the host a 5% commission. The commission is factored into the rate you pay. VRBO retains these fees.
LIBERTY RETREAT: Our current nightly rate is $159, $169 during Oct & Nov & Holidays. 2 night minimum. Standard occupancy is 2 guests. Maximum occupancy is 4 guests. We charge for each additional guest over standard occupancy (2 guests), $10/night per additional guest. One extra guest would cost you $20. $10 x 2 nights = $20. We do NOT charge extra for cleaning, utilities, hot tub, credit card fees, etc. But we feel the charge for extra guests over standard occupancy is fair.
WE CAN ACCOMMODATE UP TO FOUR (4) GUESTS. If your booking is for 1-2 people we will assume you require one bed. We have two (2) queen beds, one (1) bed in each bedroom. Only one bed will be made unless you specify you need both beds.
CHILDREN: ⚠️⚠️You may bring your children 12 years old & up. However, the cottage and grounds are not childproof. There are other dangers on the property. ALL MINORS must be supervised by a parent, AT ALL TIMES, NO EXCEPTIONS. We charge for each additional guest over 2 guests, regardless of age.
COFFEE MACHINE: Mainstay brand, single serving, K-Pods Only
DIRECTIONS: Type Liberty Retreat, Beaver, OH into Google Maps. It should bring you right to the cottage. On the rare occasion your device directs you to Watson or Wickline Rd, DO NOT GO THAT WAY. VERY ROUGH ROAD.

* 5 NIGHT STAY: Stay 5 nights or more, save 10% off the regular price. No discount code needed.
* Returning Guests: If you have previously stayed with Liberty Retreat, let us know when you intend to stay. Send a message, e-mail, text or send an inquiry. We'll send you a discount code for 15% off your entire stay.
FIRE PIT: Small sticks may be gathered around the cottage to be used for kindling. Wood is stacked by the storage building. An initial bundle of firewood is supplied. Additional bundles may be purchased for $5.00/bundle cash at Liberty Retreat.
HOT TUB: YOU WILL NEED FLIP-FLOPS for short walk to the tub and for the outdoor shower. We want you to enjoy a relaxing experience in the hot tub, but you must do so responsibly. Please read & follow the instructions in the guidebook at the cottage.
INTERNET & CELL SERVICE: This is a rural area. Internet is provided by Star Link. We currently have good signal strength all around the cottage. You should be able to Hulu, Netflix, YouTube or whatever you have an account set up for. Depending on your carrier, cell service may be spotty – none, but you should be able to make Wi-Fi calls. We can provide an emergency number for the sitter, but no refunds or concessions.
PARKING: The circular drive is a little tight for trucks, larger vehicles and if you are pulling a trailer. Please, no more than two (2) vehicles. A trailer is a vehicle.
TRAILS: We have three miles of well-marked, scenic hiking trails. No vehicles are permitted on the trails. Please don't liter the trails. We highly recommend you bring hiking boots, bottled water & TICK AND INSECT REPELLANT if you want to explore the trails. We have provided walking sticks on the back porch. Take a photo of the map at the cottage. ALL MINORS must be accompanied by parents, AT ALL TIMES. NO EXCEPTIONS.
